I would like you to share a celebration with me. The first comment I have had posted on the sight! It was in response to my post ‘Into the looking glass.’ I don’t want to embarrass the person, the comment is there for all to see if you click on it, but I wanted to personally thank the reader and highlight it because I found it beautiful and moving and is worth repeating..
“I woke up , and looked into the mirror….
I saw a familiar person, but yet strangely being a true woman in all physical assets !
That day, I would kiss the mirror . And then I would adore every second of that day , wishing I would never wake up.”
Thank you for sharing such a personal message and for getting the ball rolling, come on people start placing comments, don’t be shy!
I was trying to think of something to write my blog about this week and couldn’t think of anything out of the ordinary. Every now and then I will cut something from the book as a taste of what’s to come, but I don’t want to spoil you ; ) So then, the point is that mine and my Princesses lives are not out of the ordinary for us, hence my struggle to think of something. However I went to visit my Mum at the weekend and as I was leaving she asked if I was happy. I said that I loved my life and she said, “I think that your and Princesses lives are not conventional but you are obviously very happy and that is all that matters, someone has got to be enjoying life and I’m glad that it’s you.”
When I got home I told Princess that Mum and I had agreed that she would come to us on Christmas day for dinner, but unfortunately Dad is working. Princess said, great ‘we can have a girls day’, she then caught herself and said ‘would your Mum mind?’ which I don’t think she would.
I am moved by how accepting Mum has become of Princess, in leaps and bounds, in a relatively short period of time. Just goes to show you people can surprise you. So thank you to you too Mum x
